Many thanks to Kim and Jeff for another successful summer camp. Forty kids, including two Queenstown families and one from the UK, spent the first day tying themselves in knots and learning to rig while a very cold southerly blew itself out. Friday was windless at least until after lunch so towing, sculling and capsize practice were the order of the morning, but finally the wind appeared and the lessons were put into practice.

Saturday was perfect conditions and while the Open fleet went out in the harbour for a mini regatta, the Green Fleet circumnavigated Quail Island and the LTS 1 and 2 all sailed to the Island and back. Camp finished with a fun relay including some enthusiastic parents in Optimists.
Many thanks to all the volunteers, coaches, kitchen fairies, but especially to Kim and Jeff for the many hours of planning/organising they have put in.
