Tricky sailing conditions provided some entertainment for our closing day races. Nigel and John took out the seniors trophy in the flying fifteen and Jack Drage and Mathew Bayley took the Intermediate/Junior trophy in the Topper Topaz. Of course the real competition got going in the fiercely contested Parents in Optis race. With two heats and 15 participants, there was some close sailing, only one capsize, and quite a lot of debate over handicapping for weight! In the end Greg Corston sailed two fair and square races to add his name to the coveted trophy. Check out the photos. Time for a breather from sailing although we look forward to seeing everyone at the working bees over winter.
